This is so delicious,fresh and simple.This smoothie is dairy free and you can enjoy it any time of the day. It was my breakfast this morning.
I was never really a fan of smoothies, never liked milk since I was a child. I liked it in custards and in sweets, but since I have discovered that I am lactose intolerant, I avoid it as much as possible. Now I try to look for alternatives, and have been experimenting with new recipes.
Serves 2
prep time: 10 minute
Ingredients
1 mango
1/2 cup chilled water
1 banana
1 cup frozen mixed berries
1/2 cup almond milk
2 tablespoons crushed pistachios
Blend mango with 1/2 cup chilled water, remove and set aside. Blend frozen berries, banana and almond milk until smooth. Pour the berry mix into two glasses, top each glass with 1/2 the mango mixture and sprinkle 1 tablespoon of crushed pistachios on top of each glass. Enjoy
